This native shrub has creamy white flowers that emerge above glossy, dark green foliage in late spring early summer. Multi-stemmed, rounded shrub that changes color in the fall to a colorful mix of yellow, shiny-red and reddish-purple. Clusters of blue-black berries ripen in early fall.
