In the Spring, leaves emerge reddish orange and quickly deepen to dark purple. Flowering in June with a display of pink clusters followed by red fruit. Attractive to butterflies, birds and is a food source for Wildlife. As fall arrives, the leaves turn beautiful shades of burgundy and red. Older plants have exfoliating bark which adds winter interest to the landscape.
